Whether you are a teacher, instrumentalist, singer, music student, conduct a school choir, a church choir, sing in a community choir or are just interested in the art of conducting, this workshop will benefit you!
Under the tutelage of conductor Timothy Carpenter, you will learn about beat patterns, gesture, and score preparation as well as analysis and rehearsal technique with one of New Zealand’s finest community choirs.
Your experience will include
– Tuition relevant to your ability
– A small class size (the workshop is limited to 10 participants)
– Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea & Lunch
– A minimum of 30 minutes of podium time conducting the Choir
