Happy Easter from Hamilton Civic Choir

As Easter arrives, we are reminded of renewal, hope, and the importance of reflection – values that sit at the heart of choral music and our shared community.

From all of us at Hamilton Civic Choir, we wish you a peaceful and joyful Easter season, filled with connection and light.

At this time of reflection, we would also like to acknowledge our Deputy Conductor, Dr Karen Grylls, and congratulate her on an extraordinary and influential career with Voices New Zealand. Her recent farewell has been marked with a powerful tribute, highlighting her enduring contribution to choral music in Aotearoa:

We are incredibly grateful for her continued inspiration, musicianship, and support within our own choir.

As we move through this season, we also look ahead to ANZAC Day – a time that calls us to remember, kia maumahara.

More details about our upcoming ANZAC Day concert will be shared soon.

Wishing you a meaningful Easter,

— Hamilton Civic Choir
