Gallagher Foundation for the Hamilton Civic Choir

THE GALLAGHER FOUNDATION FOR THE HAMILTON CIVIC CHOIR

The Hamilton Civic Choir is one of New Zealand’s finest Choirs, dedicated to performing quality music to a high standard for the inspiration and enjoyment of audiences and performers alike.

Since the choir regularly presents major choral works, it faces considerable costs each year in procuring the best national and international soloists and high quality orchestras, as required for such works.

The Gallagher Foundation is a registered charitable trust, set up to ensure that the Hamilton Civic Choir can sustain its high ideals for the future. Donated funds are invested wisely to produce income which will preserve and foster the wonderful choral tradition of the Hamilton Civic Choir in our region for both present and future generations.

The seven Trust members are all eminent and respected citizens of Hamilton, combining a passionate interest in choral music with business and investment acumen. Donations to the Foundation qualify for an income tax rebate within the limits allowed by the Inland Revenue Department. The Foundation itself is exempt from income tax on any interest or other income earned.

The Trustees invite you to contribute to the Gallagher Foundation fund. Donations of $5.00 or more are tax deductible and receipts will be issued on request; you may wish to make a commitment to donate a fixed amount each year, or make a one-off contribution. Donations of more than $1000 will be acknowledged in our concert programs and website, unless you prefer your name to be with-held.
